This is a machine acquired in a moment of weakness via an online auction at ShopGoodwill.com. Who knows what attracts me to a machine? Sometimes I am a mystery to myself.
This model uses class 66 plastic bobbins and snap-on low-shank presser feet. This machine came with a finger guard around the needle. Finger guards are so smart! Why don’t more machines have them?
The good, bad, and ugly: There’s a lot of plastic here, so it’s really not the best option for heavy-duty sewing. However, it does have left, center, and right needle adjustments. Again, such a useful feature that I don’t have on any of my other machines.
There’s a hairline crack in the hand wheel that might be the result of trying to crank it over thick seams. There was so much grease under the top cover. Grease everywhere it should not have been. Grease goes on gears, and that’s about it.
