Fall planting, fall harvesting

Oh, man. I could really use your help with the fall planting. I always seem to bite off more than I can comfortably chew when it comes to plants. I did get four new raised beds, and with assembly assistance from Robert, they will speed up the transplanting process since they hold several plants, but it’s the schlepping of the soil, etc., that gets me. Wish me luck!

I dug up some awesome yellow potatoes that went right into a potato leek casserole, along with small but nice-looking onions. I think I’ll have some hot peppers to freeze. Plus, some late-season raspberries for me and the chipmunks!

I have a couple of new asters that are blooming, and I now understand why they are such a BFD for gardeners. Asters bloom in October! Yes!
