Here’s what I’ve been reading this month.
How We Learn to Be Brave by Mariann Edgar Budde
I found this book before I realized that I knew the author and had seen her courage. You may recognize her, too. She’s organized free 3-hour trainings on the same topic. It looks like all are full at the moment, but you can register to be notified when new sessions are available: https://www.bebravetogether.com/general-6
Simple Steps to Foot Pain Relief: The New Science of Healthy Feet by Katy Bowman
I know this sounds dramatic, but this book changed my life. I’ve had chronic foot pain for years. Buying shoes has always been challenging, and most shoes hurt my feet. Recently, things have gone from bad to worse. This book really helped me turn it around. There’s hope for my feet! And maybe for yours.
I am listening to The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz. Published in 1959, it’s a bit dated. But it’s been a good kick in the butt for me. (If you are looking for a more modern read, check out Playing Big by Tara Mohr.)
And here’s a book recommendation for me and you:
The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst, a recommendation from The Dog Eared Book (@thedogearedbook).
Seriously, she had me at greenhouse.
