Blueberries!

Biggest surprise of the season: we have Pink Lemonade Blueberries. I knew we had blueberries, but I thought they were the blue kind. This year, we added a small 6×8-foot greenhouse, A.K.A The Blueberry House, in an attempt to enjoy at least one blueberry harvest. Usually, the chipmunks and the birds get to them first. I thought it was a long shot. Those chipmunks are wily. So the fact that we had any blueberries was a miracle in itself. When we had pink blueberries that just seemed to get pinker, I tried one and realized it was ripe, and the Tophat Blueberry tag in the pot might not be entirely accurate.

Nothing better than homegrown blueberries.
