I stumbled upon American poet Rudy Francisco and his riveting poetry on Twitter back when Twitter was still a good thing.

This is one of his poems that feels perfectly suited to this moment.

Every day, I give up. 

for twenty minutes

but decide to

push through

on the twenty first.

Survival is a ritual,

a practice.
