For the last couple of years, we have spread the gift-giving over 25 days, either using a curated Advent gift box or DIY versions. It takes the pressure off and makes every day fun. Some gifts are small, some are handmade, and most are practical. It also lets us reuse gift wrap throughout the month!

This year, we learned about reverse Advent, where you put something in a giveaway box every day during Advent. We found we could easily give up many things that can now enjoy a great second life with someone else.
