Mindful wrapping

I loved seeing this recent NPR story: For more eco-friendly holiday wrapping, some turn to the Japanese art of furoshiki. I love wrapping presents and I’m trying to do it more mindfully. For the past few years, I’ve made reusable fabric gift wraps and bags. I reuse tags and have sturdy versions that hold up year after year. Those plus a collection of Amazon gift bags have made gift wrapping much more sustainable.

I made a few furoshiki-style wraps and those are incredibly versatile. I plan to add a few more to the mix.
