This week, we harvested our first tomatoes: a few Beaverlodge slicers, some cherry tomatoes and a couple of red currant tomatoes. Pond update: it’s a dragonfly habitat

The algae has retreated. I fished some out this morning and the haul was far less than it was a month ago. The plants look good for the most part. The canna looked a little cooked and one of the water celery plants looked sub-optimal but the flotilla of azolla is nothing short of amazing. [...]
