Four seasons here in Kansas City. I’ve heard that this is Beefsteak tomato land. Haven’t grown one of those in many years.
I automatically reached for my trusty Sunset Western Gardening book and realized it’s no good to me here. Time for some new books.
We are zone 5B here in Kansas City, MO. That means a planting date of about May 15. July is our warmest month on average. Not sure what the yearly precipitation is but pretty sure that no one measures it in tenths of inches. Not in the West anymore.
